Supported Living

We offer support to those who wish to live independently in their own homes and the community. This can include support with personal care, paying bills and budgeting, applying for benefits, access to community based activities, employment and further education.

Home care

We offer care and support in your own home and provide an alternative to residential care. We can provide as little as 30 minutes to 24 hours support per day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. We generally serve the elderly who wish to remain independent in their own homes.

Complex Care

Our senior care assistants are trained to a high level and are experienced in providing complex care such as PEG and epilepsy rescue medication. We also provide positive behavioural support for those who require more intense support and who require more than one carer at one time.

Personal Assist work throughout the Rotherham area, working in the homes of our service users and their families. We help support individuals who receive NHS funding, local authority health and social care funding, individuals in receipt of direct payments and those that also self fund.

The Personal Assist team consists of 31 members of staff, plus a management team of 7 experienced care professionals, who all share the same purpose, delivering the best service we can and making a difference with the work we do!

Personal Assist started in 2017, with a vision to deliver care differently and to ensure all those who use our service feel they matter and are able, with our help, to live as independently as possible.

All our care assistants receive epilepsy training and how to administer buccal midazolam.

Most of our care assistants have received training in PEG or will receive this training if needed.
